Payroll Assistant (Part-Time)

We are looking to recruit a payroll assistant for a part-time vacancy within our payroll department.

Initially, we expect the role would be for two days per week, probably on a Wednesday and Thursday. Previous payroll experience preferred but not necessary as appropriate training would be given to the right candidate. Experience of payroll manager software and/or the Construction Industry Scheme would also be an advantage but not necessary.

The role will involve assisting the Director to prepare weekly and monthly client payrolls and managing the administration of the payroll department.


Accountant (Part-Time/Full-Time)

We are looking to recruit an experienced accountant to assist with a very busy and rapidly expanding accounts department.

The right candidate will be preparing and finalising accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies and preferably will have some tax knowledge also.

The role will also involve VAT Return preparation and possibly some mentoring of junior staff.

The role can be either full time or part time and up to date tax knowledge is not necessary.

This role may suit an accountant wishing to return to work from a career break. As a small family owned business we understand the needs of a family and can be flexible with working arrangements for the right candidate.
