Payroll Assistant Manager

We have a vacancy for a payroll assistant manager to help run our extremely busy payroll department.

Full end to end payroll processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a varied client base of clients (mostly SME’S) using Moneysoft payroll software including:

  • Administering RTI submissions
  • Filing CIS returns
  • Processing  P45’s/P46/P11d/P60’s
  • Dealing with starters/leavers
  • Processing of pay scale & allowance uplifts, incremental rises and contractual changes as and when required
  • To process all types of manual payroll calculations including both hourly paid and salaried
  • To have an extensive knowledge of PAYE/NIC and statutory payments eg redundancy, SMP and SSP when running client payrolls;
  • To have sound knowledge of pension schemes, including Auto Enrolment process
  • Proactively develop and keep up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance;
  • Liaison with clients for any payroll queries
  • Dealing with HMRC
  • To use own initiative to resolve issues and to assist the client where possible, by providing a range of solutions and seeking advice where necessary;

Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday office based initially
